Wizard Weekly ✿

 Dear Witches,

Hello! Welcome back to another Wizard Weekly! Sorry about missing the last one, it was a very tiring week! But nonetheless I'm back! I hope all of your weeks have been good because mine was a giant roller coaster...!

me currently... This may contain: a man laying on top of a couch in front of a microphone

Monday: The Day Before Disaster Struck.แŸ

Monday was a very chill day, as I said before its mostly resorted to me finishing last minute assignments, and winding down before school on Tuesday, little did I know what was to follow on that Tuesday... ◡̈

Tuesday: Dad I hit a car ∘ ∘ ∘ ( °ใƒฎ° ) ?

Tuesday, I was leaving class exhausted, and excited to go home, and finally put something in my system. Too excited apparently. When I finally made it to my car and tried to get out of my parking spot I noticed a car parked in front of mine dropping a girl off at her car (which ok you're not special you can walk) I thought I could squeeze past the car and leave the parking lot since they were taking forever and I couldn't be bothered to wait. The problem with this was I was SO focused on not hitting their car, I turned the wheel too far, and may or may not have hit the car beside me.... (•_•). Then the cars all waiting to pass behind the car I was trying to sneak past slowly drove off watching me. I drive a fishbowl. I called my mom and my dad and explained what had happened, I was scared shitless but honestly they weren't even mad? I thought it was a trap at first but they were shockingly calm about it. Then again it wasn't THAT bad of a hit. But apparently big enough to have to pay 300 dollars to repair it... (◞ _◟)

Wednesday: I didn't break your AC...?

Wednesday my dad had to meet with the guy whose car I hit. I left a very apologetic note with my dad's number on his windshield like my dad asked me to do, and he spoke to the kid from there. The kid took his car to the mechanic and explained to my dad that it's going to be 700 cause his AC's broken...uhm..what? mind you, I scratched the bumper of his car...his parked car.

I was going 2 miles per hour... Story pin image

My dad obviously called him out for lying, and the kid knew he was screwed, so they both came to an agreement of 300 dollars. kill me.

Thursday: College = Free Pizza? ๐Ÿ•

Thursday started off pretty tedious with my first class but my second class was where I had the most fun. My professor came into class and warned us he was leaving to grab pizza from the cafeteria in the other building before coming back to class late. So naturally, me and my friend Marisa in that class turned to one another and immediately got up and chased our professor down the hall. We called for him saying we also wanted pizza, and he laughed at us for being the only ones to chase him. We went to the cafeteria and we got pizza, as well as slurpies. (which was my first time ever getting anything from that cafeteria.) I was unaware we had to pay after we got the food, and our professor ended up paying for both me, and Marisa. So I guess college really isn't how the high school teachers threatened it would be, because my professor just bought me free lunch.

Friday: Night out with Grandma แฅซ᭡

Friday was a pretty exhausting day honestly. I worked all day until 5, before I was invited out to eat wth my grandma, aunt, and a few of my cousins. I didn't have much of an appetite but I still went to see my family and actually just ended up getting a sweet drink. I take pride in spending time with family and loved ones. I think if you have healthy relationships with those you care for it's important you spend as much time as you can with them before you've realized you've wasted it all too late. <3

Saturday: In my fitness era? ๐ŸŽงྀི

Saturday afternoon I finally checked what I've been waiting to try off my bucket list, and that is pilates! I'm a pretty lean, short kind of girl, but I still love the idea of toning my body, so i've been working on being more active, and doing more things other than just the gym. So I took an intro class into pilates yesterday, and ended up really liking it, so I do think your girl is going for that official membership.

Sunday: Worst day on Earth ๐€ช

Today started off just ugly. I woke up with excruciating cramps, and literally rotted in bed for an hour trying to pray them away. On top of that, I remembered I offered to pick up a coworkers shift today. mind you. It's my day off. And I'm such a nice person I just had to open my mouth and say something. But I digress. I took medicine and put on a heating pad turning it on to the highest setting, because your girl needed it, and I at least felt a little better going into work. I think today pretty much summed up the emotions I've felt for this week. Thank you all for reading, and I hope yours was better. ♡

Thanks for casting away with me this week.

OCD awareness month ❤︎

 Hello Witches,

Today is the day I speak words i've held close to my chest for a long time. I, like many other people like to keep my struggles to myself. But I feel within this case, if I speak out about my struggles it could help more people feel less alone. October is OCD awareness month. Within society only 16.7% of people who have OCD are diagnosed. Why? Because in most cases OCD is hard to differentiate from your own original thoughts. It affects you everyday in ways that go majorly unnoticed even by you. It feels as though it isn't a disorder. That it is just the way you are, and the way you think. This can very extremely harmful not to realize because OCD contains something called intrusive thoughts that make you believe you are a terrible person. If you have these thoughts as someone with OCD it is already hard enough to realize that its just intrusive thinking and that your disorder is implanting these thoughts then someone who is experiencing these thoughts who are completely unaware they have OCD therefore believe it is their own thinking and if they are thinking that way than it must mean they're a bad person which is certainly false. OCD intrusive thoughts are not something you want to think about, it is the disorder taking things you care about most and making you second guess them by implementing fears your mind convinces you that you may act upon, even though you don't want to and would never. OCD is almost like a voice in your head manipulating your brain to make you believe you're an insane person with horrible intentions and filling your head with fears it convinces you might come true the more you think of them.

            OCD isn't just about cleaning.

There is a popular narrative that is harming the OCD community. That narrative that OCD purely just means that people are afraid of germs, or they have a strong need to keep things neat and tidy. Is this true? Yes. That is called Contamination OCD. The most known type of OCD which also gets undermined for what it actually is. Contamination OCD is only one singular type of OCD and it in fact is not the most common form of OCD that is shown in accords to society. It is arguably the most heard of, due to misconception that it is the only thing OCD is. But it is not. OCD is many, many, many, different things that affect so many people everyday.

A few types of OCD are:

  • Contamination OCD-Intense fear of germs, dirt, illness, or chemicals. Compulsions include excessive handwashing, cleaning, or avoiding perceived dirty surface
  • Harm OCD-Intrusive thoughts or fears about causing harm to yourself or others, often through negligence.
  • Checking OCD-Compulsions include repeatedly checking locks, stoves, or driving routes.
  • Symmetrical OCD-An overwhelming need for items to be balanced, even, or arranged in a precise sequence. Distress occurs when things feel misaligned
  • Intrusive thoughts OCD (Pure-O)-Distressing, unwanted mental thoughts or images about violent, sexual, or blasphemous themes that go against a person's core values. Compulsions are usually mental acts, like rumination, mental review, or seeking reassurance.
  • Religious/Moral OCD-Excessive, obsessive worry about moral, ethical, or religious failures and committing sins.
  • False Memory OCD-Intense doubt and mental replaying of past events, worrying you did something illegal or harmful without remembering it clearly.
  • Relationship OCD-Persistent, distressing doubts about a partner's love or the suitability of a relationship
These are different types of OCD that effect so many unnoticed people every single day. Of course these aren't ALL the types but these are a few I feel are barely seen or heard of by society that should be. OCD is a very big issue and a dangerous disorder that has taken lives from those who have OCD but haven't heard of its proper description ultimately leading them to believe the way that they think Is corrupt and that they are a terrible person for having these thoughts.

My earliest memory of an OCD compulsion was when I was 7. I didn't learn about OCD's proper description until I turned 14. Ironically the start of my high school years my OCD grew worse. I began seeing a therapist to help understand my way of thinking. To help my compulsions. Sophomore year I began having panic attacks due to increased anxiety. Junior year my OCD grew more than it had before. Senior year had to have been the hardest year dealing with my OCD because it had grown larger as I started to experience different types all at once. Within my high school years I went through 3 therapists. I'm now out of therapy, but looking for a different person, hopefully a psychiatrist who specializes within OCD. I have never spoken about my OCD to anyone besides my parents. I was afraid no one would understand. Im still afraid. But I think it's important to be brave for those who are hiding like I once was. This is me telling my story, and I think it's important people hear it.

Thank you for listening.

Wizard Weekly ๐“†ฉ^._.^๐“†ช

 Dear Witches,

It's been a very long week and so much has happened! I hope you guys liked the costume reveal, i'm so excited to finally start the Halloween month!! And to of course document and share it all with the blog<3. So let's get into this week!

Monday: Chill day <3

Monday was a very chill day, I spent the whole day finishing assignments that I put off for the weekend, and slept until 9 before I got up showered, got dressed and slept again till morning. Overall it was a very tiring day. I think I've resorted to having Monday's be my catch up day, so not much to speak of here.

Tuesday: SURPRISE!!⋆˙⟡

Tuesday was a very exciting day because my uncle that lives in Australia came to surprise us after 4 years of not seeing him! I was beyond excited to see him because he's our chill, fun uncle and not to brag or anything, but i'm his favorite niece ;)

Wednesday: Little Note ✎

Wednesday was a very easy day. My uncle came by my work, and I go to introduce him to my favorite drinks!! But after he left I decided to mess around a bit and have a bit of fun while I work because I was bored with being the only one on shift. I started to leave little notes in the pick up orders, giving them sweet messages, and then signing off as the number one employee of where I work because..well, I am.

Thursday: Bruno Day ๐‘„เฉญ

Thursday I spent the entire day centered around my cat. I got Bruno brand new food, cleaned his litter box with the hose, and made sure to put brand new litter in to make it fresh for him to do his business. I then spent the rest of the day grooming him and making sure he was fresh and clean. I ALWAYS make sure my child is looking his best.

Friday: Haunted House ู ๐Ÿ”ชིྀ⭑

Friday was a very spooky, and thrilling day, to start the beginning days of the halloween month. My cousins/friends and I all went to one of the scariest haunted houses in my town. I have never been to a real haunted house before so this was my first actual experience. Now at first I was shitting BRICKS. But then my cousin told me the key was to act unafraid, so I tried doing that and it worked. I started singing to the actors and it fully helped how scared I was, and I actually had a BLAST!!

Saturday: Fall Shopping ☾๐“ƒ ☽

My favorite day of the week had to have been Saturday (beside Friday). I'm not much of an in-person shopping type of gal. I mostly shop online, but I woke up yesterday having the impulse of going to a nearby TJ Max by my house, and spending most of the money I had on clothes, and I do not regret it at all!! I bought a really cute jacket, and many, many, sweaters, and about two pairs of pants. I also got new socks, undershirts, and two brand new pjs! All together it was about 300 dollars, and was in fact worth every penny. I'm so excited to start dressing up for the fall months!!

Sunday: Game night ⏾

Today was a very overwhelming day! More of my uncles from Australia came today, and we celebrated over a large family reunion where we sat around, talked, had snacks, and watched the football games that were playing tonight. It was so nice to have all my family around me again after so long. It finally felt like the old times when we were back in my grandmas house having dinner as a family.

Thanks for casting away with me this week!

Wizard Weekly ๐“ƒ”

 Dear Witches,

It's time for another Wizard Weekly! I'm sorry for being a bit inactive, I've had to do a lot of homework this week and in-between work it's pretty hard! It's been a good week! I got a lot of things done, and I got to finally unbox something i've been wanting for a long time (keep reading to find out what)! I am also getting my halloween costume next week!! I'm so excited, and I can't wait to finally introduce who I'm going to be this year! Stay tuned on October 1st! Now lets get into this week...

Monday: Homework (·•᷄‎เก‡•᷅ )

Monday was a work day, I dedicated the day to just finishing my assignments, drafting TikTok's, and studying for class the next day. Overall annoying but an ok day.

Tuesday: Brunos bathtime ☂

Tuesday morning, I woke up expecting to go to class but found out an hour before that it was canceled. So, instead of going back to sleep, I decided to shower my cat. To preface, my cat Bruno is an inside cat, we brush him, and cut his nails regularly. We haven't bathed him since he was a kitten because of how much of a struggle it was. Why did I decide Tuesday was the day that would change? No idea. I held him into the bathroom and locked him in before he quite literally lost his shit when the water came on. He would meow, and meow, and meow, shedding like CRAZY because of how scared he was. After struggling to even get him near the shower for about 15 minutes, my sister came over and helped me. She held him as I poured water on his back and he surprisingly calmed down a bit. However ever chance he got he'd run off. What I was shocked about was that he didn't try to attack us once. I don't remember exactly if he had when he was little but he hadn't even scratched us. Would I do it again? Not for a while.

Wednesday: Its good to see me isn't it? ๐Ÿซง

Wednesday was a fantabulous day because I had finally received one of the things I've been wanting for a long time. It was a Glinda the Best Witch Mattel Doll. AKA the best Glinda doll ever. I spent a half hour unboxing it, and I nearly cried out of frustration because it was literally the hardest thing to unbox. But I guess that's what you have to expect when you're opening up something so amazing. Safe to say I am OBSESSULATED. สšรฏษž

Thursday: Is this what Uni is like? (,,•᷄‎เก‡•᷅ ,,)?

Thursday was my off day and also a school day. I arrived to school in iconic disney fashion listening to "Who Will I Be?" by Demi Lovato famously sang in Camp Rock.

When I got to school I headed to my first class that was only an hour which felt like kind of a drag especially since I had a class right after it. At least I thought I would have one. I lasted a grand total of 10 minutes in my next class which was English. My professor kept talking about something he had explained last week. When he finally realized he was repeating himself he asked us if he had already talked about the subject. After we said he had he looked at us and said, "Ok bye." We all looked at him in confusion. "What do you mean bye?" A student asked him. "I don't have anything else planned for today, so bye." My teacher responded. And just like that everyone got up and just left. We were all dumbfounded. We weren't sure if he was serious until he started to pack up his own things. Safe to say I was just glad to be out of class.

Friday: Work Day :)

Like Monday, Friday was an ok day, I spent the whole day working in the morning before I headed home and drafted more ideas for TikTok. My TikTok is linked within this blog as are my other socials so make sure to find me!

Saturday: Test Anxiety (⚈₋₍⚈)

Saturday was a whole morning of anxiety. I had to do yet another quiz and only had a limited amount of time to finish it. At the same time I also had to get ready and head off to work early. I was trying to move as fast as I could without messing up a problem. Worst part about the whole test was that it was math. I hate math. Thankfully math seems to love me for some reason because I got a 100%. WOO!!

Sunday: BOGO ๐ฆ‚๐–จ†๐€ช๐– ‹

Today was a very tiring day. We had a buy one get one free event today, and lets just say it was flooded with people. Of course I'm grateful for the business we got, but my back was bent out of shape from how much I was moving today. It was insane!! But thankfully we finished cleaning on time, and I was able to get home to write this as a little update for the blog. I love you guys, and thank you so much for all the love! Can't wait to share more soon! ♡

Thanks for casting away with me this week!
